As an A&P Certified Aircraft Mechanic 2, you will be responsible for performing maintenance and repair tasks on aircraft, ensuring compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards. You will work on a variety of aircraft systems, including avionics, mechanical, and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform routine and complex maintenance tasks on aircraft, including inspections, repairs, and replacements of aircraft systems and components.
- Ensure compliance with aviation regulations and industry standards, including those set by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) and the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO).
- Troubleshoot and diagnose malfunctions in aircraft systems, including avionics, mechanical, and electrical systems.
- Collaborate with other maintenance personnel to ensure efficient and effective maintenance operations.
- Document maintenance activities and record-keeping in accordance with company policies and procedures.
Requirements
- Current A&P Certification from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) or equivalent.
- 2+ years of experience in aircraft maintenance, preferably in a military or commercial aviation environment.
- Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and industry standards.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and as part of a team.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
