About the Role
Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced Agentic AI Engineer to join their team. This role focuses on designing and deploying advanced AI solutions leveraging Large Language Models and Generative AI, with a strong emphasis on autonomous agent systems.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement Agentic AI systems, including autonomous agents, tool-using agents, planners, and memory-enabled agents.
- Integrate agents with various systems such as APIs, databases, enterprise systems, and external tools.
- Translate business workflows into autonomous or semi-autonomous AI agent designs.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Requirements
- Strong hands-on experience with Large Language Models (LLMs) and Generative AI.
- Proven experience designing Agentic AI systems.
- Expertise in Python and modern AI frameworks.
- Experience with agent frameworks such as LangChain, LangGraph, CrewAI, AutoGen, or Semantic Kernel.
- Hands-on experience with retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) and tool/function calling.
- Strong understanding of prompt engineering, reasoning chains, planning, and orchestration.
- Experience deploying AI solutions on cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Familiarity with Docker, CI/CD, and scalable deployment practices.
- Ability to communicate effectively.
Preferred / Good-to-Have Skills
- Experience with multi-agent coordination, task decomposition, and feedback loops.
- Hands-on experience with vector databases and embeddings (FAISS, Pinecone, Weaviate, OpenSearch).
- Exposure to MLOps / LLMOps including monitoring, observability, and governance.
- Experience with Azure OpenAI, OpenAI APIs, Hugging Face, or Anthropic models.
- Knowledge of Responsible AI, safety, and compliance considerations in autonomous systems.
- Relevant certifications in AI, ML, Cloud, or GenAI.
