As the AI and ML Engineer Lead at DoubtClear.AI, you will be at the forefront of an educational revolution, driving the development of AI-powered solutions that will change how students learn and educators teach. You will be a key member of our founding team, responsible for leading and growing our engineering division, as well as shaping and executing our product vision. Responsibilities
- Lead Technical Vision: Define and lead the technical strategy and roadmap for AI and ML initiatives. Translate high-level business objectives into actionable technical plans.
- Team Leadership: Build and mentor a team of AI and ML engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning. Provide guidance, set clear goals, and facilitate professional growth.
- Product Innovation: Drive the conceptualization, design, and development of AI-powered educational products that differentiate DoubtClear.AI in the market.
- Research and Development: Stay up-to-date with the latest AI/ML advancements and integrate them into our products. Foster a culture of research and experimentation.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with product managers, data scientists, designers, and other stakeholders to deliver cohesive, user-centric solutions.
- Technical Excellence: Ensure engineering best practices, code quality, and scalable architectures are upheld. Review and guide the implementation of AI/ML algorithms and models.
- Hands-on Contribution: While leading, maintain a hands-on role by contributing to coding, designing, and problem-solving, setting a high standard for technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's, Master's, or PhD in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Leadership Experience: Proven track record (3+ years) of leading and growing engineering teams, ideally in a startup environment.
- AI/ML Expertise: Extensive experience (5+ years) in AI and ML research and application, with a deep understanding of algorithms, neural networks, and machine learning frameworks.
- Innovative Mindset: A visionary leader who can anticipate industry trends, drive innovation, and identify opportunities for AI/ML integration in education.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, expertise in AI/ML libraries/frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, etc.), and a solid understanding of cloud platforms and tools.
- Product Mindset: Proven ability to translate business objectives into technical strategies, and to guide the development of scalable, user-centered products.
- Communication Skills: Excellent communication, collaboration, and presentation skills. Able to convey complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
