Key Responsibilities
- Research, design, develop, and modify computer vision and machine learning algorithms and models using frameworks like Caffe, Torch, or TensorFlow
- Shape product strategy for applied ML/AI solutions through customer engagement, solution teams, and prototyping initiatives
- Build and mentor a high-impact ML/AI team by supporting recruitment, training, and professional development
- Act as an evangelist by engaging with the broader ML/AI community through research, speaking engagements, and collaborations
- Design integrations and tune machine learning and computer vision algorithms for real-world applications
- Research and prototype techniques for object detection, recognition, and image classification using convolutional neural networks
Requirements
- 2-5 years of experience in Machine Learning or Artificial Intelligence with hands-on algorithm development
- Proficiency in Python, C++, or Java with experience in deep learning frameworks (Caffe, Torch, TensorFlow)
- Strong background in computer vision libraries (OpenCV, Clarifai, Google Cloud Vision) and statistical modeling
- Experience with big data platforms (Hadoop, Spark, HIVE) and cloud services (AWS, Microsoft, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with supervised/unsupervised learning, feature learning, and prediction models (deep learning, SVM, random forest)
