About the Role

Argyll Scott is actively seeking an experienced AI Engineer or Machine Learning Engineer with a demonstrated proficiency ranging from 2 to 10 years. The ideal candidates should have hands-on experience with cutting-edge technologies, specifically in GenAI and/or LLM (Large Language Models), with a minimum of 1 year experience in this domain. This is a 6-12 month contract, extendable for a long-term project, offering an immediate start for those passionate about AI and its practical deployment. You will be working for one of the largest and most renowned brands in the financial services industry, expanding in the region, on exciting and interesting projects within the GenAI and LLM space.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • Work across teams to develop, deploy, optimize, and architect Generative AI solutions and ML Solutions using MLOps, GenAI, and LLM.
  • Develop and promote standards across the community.
  • Evaluate and select appropriate AI tools and machine learning models for tasks, as well as build and train working versions of those models using Python and other open-source technologies.
  • Emphasize real-world application and production deployment.
  • Collaborate within a Squad using Kanban/Agile methodologies to drive projects to successful outcomes.
  • Work with leadership and stakeholders to identify AI/ML opportunities and promote strategy.
  • Develop and conduct trainings for users across the Government & Public Services landscape on principles used to develop models and how to interact with models to facilitate their business processes.
  • Build and prioritize backlog for future machine-learning enabled features to support client business processes.

Experience and Qualifications

  • Bachelor/master’s degree in engineering.
  • 2 to 10 years of relevant experience in AI or Machine Learning.
  • Proven experience with GenAI, LLM, and developing AI solutions.
  • Strong engineering background, differentiating from traditional Data Science roles.
  • Focus on deployment and production rather than research.
  • Familiarity with MLOps practices.
  • Hands-on experience with specified programming languages, frameworks, and tools.
  • Experience in Programming Languages like Python, C/C++, Java, HTML, CSS, Bootstrap, JavaScript, MySQL, etc.
  • Experience in Frameworks like TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras, NumPy, OpenCV, Pandas, Elasticsearch, Logstash, Kibana, Unix, etc.
  • Good to have knowledge and experience in Internet of Things like Raspberry Pi, Arduino, CI/CD, GitHub.
  • Comfortable working in a Squad environment, utilizing Kanban/Agile methodologies.
  • Prioritization will be given to candidates with a robust engineering/development background, focusing on development, deployment, and production aspects rather than traditional research roles.
