You will be working as Artificial Intelligence & Advanced Analytics Manager and will be part of Process Automation Business Area for Energy Industries Division based in Bangalore, India. In this role you will be reporting to Chief Data Officer and you will be responsible for delivering and implementing analytics strategy in one or more functional areas in alignment with business stakeholders. Leveraging knowledge of advanced analytics to make business impact. Building and maintaining large scale statistical models that turn billions of data points into insights and actions. Driving data-driven strategy and decision making for predictive analytics and optimization by leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML).
Your Responsibilities
- Leading the exploration of AI applications within the organization to identify potential areas where AI can drive efficiency, automation and innovation. Providing thought leadership and act as the trusted technical adviser to the business and technology leadership team.
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to implement AI-driven solutions that enhance productivity and optimizing operational processes. Continuously monitoring industry trends and advancements in AI technologies to assess their potential impact on the organization's offerings and strategies.
- Staying at the forefront of AI trends and technologies, guiding the development and implementation of cutting-edge solutions that align with industry best practices. Leading the architecture and enabling technologies strategy for AI or ML platform and engineering, generative AI enablement, advanced analytics and ML Ops.
- Working closely with sales, finance, operations and other key function, division, hub and local division (LD) teams to understand their unique challenges and develop AI solutions to address specific business needs.
- Leading the definition and delivery of AI projects, including developing business cases, ensuring delivery within budget, schedule and driving successful project outcomes. Tracking and evaluating the performance of implemented AI solutions, ensuring they meet the desired objectives and contribute to the company's growth.
- Engaging with stakeholders at all levels to ensure seamless adoption of AI solutions and garner support for AI-driven initiatives. Partnering and effectively communicating with Non-IS or business users, functional counterparts and stakeholders to understand the underlying business problem and working with the extended team to define and communicate the right technical solution.
- Leading a team of data scientists or AI or ML developers, fostering a collaborative and innovative environment for continuous learning and skill development. Collaborating with data scientists and data engineers to build production-level models and pipelines, including any required preprocessing of input datasets and postprocessing after model inference.
Your Background
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science or related field, advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 10 to 17 years of experience in the AI or ML field, including 6+ years of extensive practical experience and a comprehensive understanding of AI or ML architecture, data science, data engineering, ML Ops, strong background in industrial automation and technology services preferred.
- Experience in building and deploying machine learning solutions using various supervised or unsupervised ML algorithms. Demonstrating success in driving AI projects and solutions that deliver measurable business outcomes.
- Experience in building IT use cases or solutions especially around AI or ML cognitive services and platforms, model productize, ML Ops, CICD Automation on cloud or on-prem environments, including hands-on experience with generative AI and Large Language Models (LLM).
- Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and proficiency in feature analysis, algorithm selection and model hyperparameter tuning. In-depth knowledge of AI technologies, including machine learning, natural language processing, computer vision and deep learning.
- Familiarity with various industrial automation systems and their integration with AI technologies. Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to effectively collaborate and influence stakeholders at all levels.
