As an Assistant General Counsel - AI, Privacy & Governance, you will provide legal guidance on AI, privacy, and governance matters to support the company's growth and innovation. You will work closely with the General Counsel and other stakeholders to develop and implement policies and procedures related to AI, data protection, and data governance.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide legal advice on AI-related matters, including data protection, bias, and transparency.
- Develop and implement data governance policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure that AI and data-related projects are aligned with legal and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct research and analysis on emerging AI and data-related issues to inform legal guidance and policy development.
- Support the General Counsel in responding to regulatory inquiries and investigations related to AI and data protection.
Requirements:
- JD or equivalent degree in law.
- 2+ years of experience in contract law, data governance, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of AI, machine learning, and data protection laws and regulations.
- Excellent analytical, communication, and project management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and projects.
