About the Role
As an Associate Director - Data Science at Bristlecone, you will play a crucial role in building, training, and optimizing ML/DL models for real-world applications across various domains. You will collaborate closely with MLOps teams to ensure seamless model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management, while adhering to best practices in scalability, reproducibility, and responsible AI principles.
Responsibilities
- Build, train, and optimize ML/DL models for real-world applications across domains.
- Collaborate with MLOps teams for model deployment, monitoring, and lifecycle management.
- Ensure solutions follow best practices in scalability, reproducibility, and responsible AI principles.
- Mentor junior engineers and data scientists in ML best practices and solutioning.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business problems into AI/ML solutions.
Required Qualifications
- Experience: 9–10 years in AI/ML with at least 6-7 years in data science and ML engineering.
- Technical Expertise:
- Strong expertise in predictive modeling, regression, classification, and neural network architectures.
- Proficiency in deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch, Keras).
- Skilled in Python, ML libraries (scikit-learn, NumPy, Pandas), and data pipeline tools.
- Experience with model deployment, APIs, and containerization (Docker, Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with cloud ML platforms (AWS Sagemaker, Azure ML, GCP Vertex AI).
- Soft Skills: Excellent problem-solving, solution-oriented mindset, and strong communication skills to work with both technical and business stakeholders.
