About Data Analytics (DA)
Data Analytics is one of the highest growth practices within Evalueserve, providing rewarding career opportunities. Established in 2014, the global DA team extends beyond 1000+ (and growing) data science professionals across data engineering, business intelligence, digital marketing, advanced analytics, technology, and product engineering.
What You Will Be Doing At Evalueserve
- Work in a dynamic environment for various clients across the Supply Chain domain.
- Solve complex data-intensive business problems by leveraging specialized tools and techniques for data analysis and modeling.
- Lead client projects, gathering and understanding clients’ business requirements, and designing/suggesting relevant analysis to meet these requirements.
- Carry out analysis using clients’ databases with the help of statistical tools such as Python, and present the analysis in Excel (Pivots, Graphs), PowerPoint (presentation), or dashboards after adding relevant business insights.
- Mentor and coach junior colleagues in becoming successful analytics resources.
- Improve existing delivery processes and lead automation where applicable.
- Provide thought leadership and technical advice on domain and methodological frameworks to team/project managers and clients.
- Support the management team in business development initiatives – expanding solutions portfolio and offerings in supply chain and analytics domain.
- Engage with business partners to ensure solutions are appropriate to existing business processes and level of readiness.
What We're Looking For
- Master’s degree in supply chain, operations, management, or a related field.
- At least 15 years of experience in the field of supply chain and data analytics, with direct client service exposure (served clients in a consultant or team leader capacity).
- Strong domain knowledge in the area of Supply Chain and related concepts, such as Network Optimization, Route Optimization, Inventory Optimization, Warehouse Optimization, etc.
- Strong background in Data Science – Machine Learning, Advanced Analytics, and similar concepts.
- Statistical programming software experience in Python, or equivalent, and knowledge of analytics tools.
- Exposure to advanced analytics and machine-learning methodologies, such as Regression (Linear, Logistic, etc.), Classification, Segmentation, Bayesian Models, and Time Series Analysis, and optimization techniques, such as Linear Programming and MILP.
- Knowledge of visualization platforms will be an added advantage.
- Strong verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
- Good understanding of economic, financial, and general business concepts and terminologies.
- Superior problem-solving, analytical, and quantitative skills.
- Entrepreneurial mindset, coupled with a “can do” attitude.
- Demonstrated ability to collaborate with cross-functional, cross-border teams and coach/mentor colleagues.
