Key Responsibilities
- Develop and optimize bioinformatics pipelines for genomic data processing
- Design algorithms for sequence alignment, variant calling, and functional annotation
- Collaborate with biologists to interpret computational results in biological context
- Maintain and scale computational infrastructure for large-scale genomic datasets
- Document workflows and ensure reproducibility of analyses
Requirements
- Master's degree in Bioinformatics, Computational Biology, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in genomic data analysis and pipeline development
- Proficiency in Python, R, and bioinformatics tools (e.g., BWA, GATK)
- Experience with cloud computing and big data frameworks
- Strong understanding of molecular biology and genetics
