Cards Technical Implementation Lead – Riyadh (onsite)
We are seeking a Cards Technical Implementation Lead to join a high-profile fintech company for a 12-month project. This role is pivotal in driving the end-to-end technical implementation and productionisation of mass consumer credit cards, wallet-linked prepaid cards, and commercial card products within the KSA market.
Key Responsibilities
Lead the full technical delivery lifecycle, including BIN request/setup, ICA assignment, and Mastercard scheme certification.
Drive principal membership enablement and regulatory submissions to SAMA.
Oversee card productionisation and digital issuance, ensuring integration with processing platforms.
Execute digital wallet and tokenisation launches, including MDES setup and 3DS authentication.
Manage scheme certification, SIT/UAT, and quality assurance processes to resolve defects prior to go-live.
Coordinate across all internal and external parties including processors and personalization bureaus to facilitate governance and solution design.
Required Skills & Experience
10+ years of experience in payments technology, card issuing/processing, and technical implementation.
Strong knowledge of SAMA regulatory framework and card issuance standards.
Hands-on experience with card program launches, including credit, wallet, and commercial products.
Deep expertise in digital wallets (Apple Pay, Google Pay, xPay) and tokenisation (MDES/VTS).
Familiarity with ISO 8583/ISO 20022 messaging standards and PCI-DSS compliance.
Proven ability to manage principal membership setups and processor integrations.
Fluent in English; Arabic language proficiency is considered an asset.
