About the Role
As our Chief Product & Technical Officer (CPTO), you’ll lead the technology vision and its execution at Last Mile Solutions, Europe’s largest independent e-mobility platform. We are looking for a CPTO who can advance the maturity and resilience of our platform, ensure predictable delivery, and create a modern, reliable engineering environment that accelerates roadmap delivery, shortens time-to-market, and drives a steady rhythm of innovation. Your role is crucial in scaling and embedding our product- and partner-led strategy in Product & Technology, with AI-native engineering as a core capability. You will translate strategic direction into consistent execution, measurable outcomes, and sustainable scale.
Your Responsibilities
- Lead with modernizing product leadership and engineering practices: Improve platform stability and performance, reduce incidents through strong observability, monitoring, and incident-management practices. Define clear team ownership and structure, establish predictable roadmaps, prioritization processes, and release cadences.
- Modernize software, infrastructure and organizational design: Holistically modernize software architecture and infrastructure. Shift teams towards a DevSecOps way of working and prepare the organization for AI-native operations. Reduce technical debt and automate key systems to create a scalable, modern platform.
- Increase innovation capacity: Free up capacity for roadmap delivery and new value creation by strengthening product management, improving prioritization, enabling faster decision-making, and streamlining delivery and release processes. Create space for experimentation and new product development while establishing a steady innovation rhythm.
- Execute and scale a product‑ and partner‑led operating model: Strengthen outcome‑focused product teams aligned to partner and customer value streams, with clear end‑to‑end ownership from discovery through delivery and operations.
- Embed AI‑native product engineering and modern architecture: Ensure modern architecture, DevSecOps, and AI‑native engineering practices are consistently applied. Use AI to accelerate development, testing, quality, observability, and learning.
- Enable predictable delivery and partner trust: Establish clear product roadmaps, disciplined prioritization, and transparent commitments.
- Increase innovation capacity without sacrificing stability: Reduce operational complexity and friction to free up capacity for experimentation, learning, and faster value delivery.
- Lead Product & Technology as a business capability: Translate technical and product outcomes into measurable business impact, working closely with the executive team.
