Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement repeatable infrastructure and workflows using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) to ensure consistency and scalability
- Build platform systems and guardrails that enforce security, reliability, and cost-efficiency by default
- Improve existing cloud environments through iterative enhancements while balancing performance and operational overhead
- Apply FinOps principles to optimize cloud spending without compromising scalability or reliability
- Automate repetitive tasks and standardize processes to reduce manual effort and operational variability
- Document systems, workflows, and engineering decisions to maintain clarity and reproducibility
Requirements
- Strong experience with AWS and core cloud architecture concepts
- Proficiency with Infrastructure as Code tools, particularly Terraform
- Experience with automation and scripting using Python and Bash
- Solid understanding of cloud security best practices and the AWS Well-Architected Framework
- Familiarity with modern cloud architecture patterns, including APIs, event-driven systems, and CI/CD pipelines
