The Gig
As our CTO, you’ll architect an AI platform that feels human, gamifies relationships, and keeps users hooked. This is a full-time, remote role for candidates based in India, offering significant equity as your stake in our high-growth startup. You’ll lead the tech vision, build a rockstar team, and ship a product that’s as emotionally authentic as it is technically groundbreaking. You’re not just a hire—you’re a co-founder shaping the future of connection.
What You’ll Do
- Drive the Tech Vision: Design a scalable architecture for our emotional AI platform (React Native, Node.js, Python FastAPI, GPT-4T fine-tuning, Unity avatars).
- Build the Feels Engine: Lead development of sentiment-driven NLP, emotional memory store (FAISS + AWS S3), and gamified relationship tiers.
- Scale Like a Pro: Ensure our app supports 50K MAU in Year 1 and 500K by Year 2, with flawless performance.
- Assemble Your Crew: Hire and mentor AI/ML engineers, UX/UI designers, and backend devs who vibe with Gen Z/Millennial energy.
- Push Boundaries: Lead AR/VR proof-of-concepts (virtual lounges, haptic hugs) for next-gen immersion.
- Stay Ethical: Embed transparency, privacy (end-to-end encryption), and emotional safety in every feature.
- Partner Up: Collaborate with behavioral psychologists, growth marketers, and our CEO to align tech with user feels and business goals.
- Deliver Fast: Drive our roadmap from MVP (Months 1–3) to public beta (Months 12–15) and beyond.
Who You Are
- Tech Titan: 7+ years in software engineering, with 3+ years leading teams on AI/ML or consumer apps.
- AI/NLP Expert: Hands-on with LLMs (e.g., GPT-4 fine-tuning), sentiment analysis, or emotional AI systems.
- Full-Stack Guru: Proficient in our stack (React Native, Node.js, Python, PostgreSQL) or similar, with a knack for rapid prototyping.
- Gamification Fan: You understand why XP, quests, and badges drive obsession—bonus if you’ve built RPG-style mechanics.
- Startup Hustler: Thrives in 0-to-1 environments, with experience shipping MVPs under tight timelines.
