About the Role

As a Data Scientist - Cybersecurity Analyst at KnowBe4, you will be joining a team dedicated to advancing cybersecurity through data-driven insights. This role is a unique opportunity to apply your expertise in data science and cybersecurity to protect organizations from evolving threats.

Responsibilities

  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends and patterns related to cybersecurity threats and human behavior.
  • Develop and implement statistical models and machine learning algorithms to enhance threat detection and prevention.
  • Collaborate with product and engineering teams to integrate data science solutions into the KnowBe4 Platform.
  • Research and stay current with the latest advancements in AI, cybersecurity, and data science.
  • Provide insights and recommendations based on data analysis to improve the effectiveness of security awareness training and risk management.

Requirements

  • Proven experience in data science, with a strong focus on cybersecurity applications.
  • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python.
  • Strong experience with SQL for data manipulation and analysis.
  • Solid understanding of statistical modeling and machine learning techniques.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity concepts, social engineering, and advanced persistent threats.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
  • Excellent communication skills to present complex data insights to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
