Key Responsibilities
- Design and execute undirected research to tackle open-ended data problems in the oil and gas domain using AI, ML, and deep learning techniques
- Develop data-driven algorithms and prototypes for classification, regression, anomaly detection, failure prediction, and optimization
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement robust and scalable industrial software solutions
- Communicate ideas, plans, and results effectively to stakeholders through presentations and prototype demonstrations
- Participate in technical forums and conferences to stay updated with industry advancements
- Contribute to technical discussions and project reviews as an expert
Requirements
- M.S/MTech/PhD in computer science, mathematics, physics, applied sciences, or engineering with 3-5 years of experience in algorithm development using General AI and Generative AI
- Strong background in Generative AI, deep learning algorithms, and their applications to text analytics/NLP, computer vision, etc.
- Proficiency in Python and hands-on experience with TensorFlow, Keras, or PyTorch
- Strong foundation in linear algebra, statistics, and probability
- Experience with retrieval augmented generation (RAG), agentic frameworks, or related technologies is a plus
