Key Responsibilities
- Analyze diverse datasets including market microstructure, macroeconomic indicators, social media sentiment, satellite imagery, real estate transactions, and behavioral data.
- Develop predictive models and frameworks using statistics, machine learning, econometrics, and related tools.
- Design, implement, and refine algorithms and strategies across domains like finance, AI applications, and social behavior modeling.
- Write production-quality code to integrate research into live systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, sharing insights and refining ideas through remote, cross-time-zone communication.
Requirements
- Strong analytical and mathematical thinking with comfort working in ambiguous and complex environments.
- Proficiency in coding and data analysis; experience with Python, KDB/Q, or functional programming is a plus.
- Curiosity to explore overlooked questions and ability to uncover signal in noise.
- Excellent communication skills for effective remote collaboration.
