About the Role
Xcede is partnering with an innovative insurance organization based in Cambridgeshire to hire an entry-level Data Scientist. This permanent position offers a fully hands-on opportunity to combine Data Science, Machine Learning, and Analytics techniques while working on diverse projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Data Science fundamentals.
Responsibilities
- Combine Data Science, Machine Learning, and Analytics techniques.
- Work on a variety of projects within the insurance sector.
- Translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Requirements
- Degree in a STEM subject (ideally).
- Experience utilizing Machine Learning approaches to solve business problems or university projects.
- Good understanding of SQL and Python.
- Strong understanding of Machine Learning models.
- Excellent statistical approach to problem-solving.
- Ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Aptitude to learn new technologies.
