Requirements

  • Extensive hands-on experience building and deploying production AI/ML solutions, both traditional and modern
  • A growth mindset and an insatiable curiosity around AI and AI-related technologies
  • An expert practitioner in the technologies the team builds, typically tackling a wide variety of natural language and computer vision applications using object-oriented code design, containerized deployments, cloud infrastructure, and common open source machine learning libraries
  • Demonstrated experience with mentorship, management, and fostering the growth of engineering teams that have built AI/ML systems
  • Deeply embody servant leadership and have a demonstrated ability to form trusting relationships with team members
  • A steward of psychologically safe and team-first environments, prioritizing the responsible usage of AI and seeking out diverse perspectives
  • Ideally, experience working in early-stage companies where you’ve seen and led engineering teams through significant growth
