How You Will Make an Impact
- Take the lead on designing, testing, and refining AI workflows and model configurations to produce engaging, accurate editorial content tailored to our brand’s unique voice.
- Edit, fact-check, and QA AI-generated content, ensuring every piece meets high standards for relevance, helpfulness, and clarity.
- Ensure AI content aligns with AP style and proprietary style guides.
- Collaborate with editors, SEO team members, and cross-functional partners to manage complete content cycles, from ideation and content brief creation to publication, optimizing for user value and searchability.
- Own tracking of new AI tools, models, and innovations to position Insurify as an industry leader in the ethical implementation of AI.
- Ideate, launch, and track AI experimentation aimed at continuous improvements and refinements of workflow efficiency, content quality, and production.
- Partner with the Editor in Chief and editorial leadership to roll out new AI workflows to the broader editorial team, including documentation, training materials, and best-practice guidelines.
- Train and coach editors and writers on AI tools and processes through live training, office hours, and 1:1 support.
Who You Are
- A content strategist, writer, or editor with at least 3 years of experience in content creation.
- Experienced AI-wielder, adept with generative AI platforms, prompt engineering, and hands-on content editing.
- Proficient with SEO strategies and translating keyword data into real editorial improvements.
- A passionate word-nerd with strong editorial judgment and a knack for making content genuinely helpful, trustworthy, and relatable.
- A patient teacher capable of helping teammates implement new AI tools and strategies.
- A style devotee proficient with AP style, working with multiple brand style guides, and adapting (or even creating) editorial standards for digital audiences.
- A creative, collaborative professional excited to work cross-functionally in a fast-moving, high-volume editorial environment and comfortable owning a new function.
- A bachelor’s or master’s degree-holder in journalism, English, communications, marketing, computer science, or a related discipline.
