About the Role
KLA is seeking applications for an Algorithm engineer in the EBEAM division, focusing on developing next-generation technologies in yield management for the Semiconductor industry. This position involves developing advanced Image Processing and Machine Vision algorithms for wafer Inspection, Review, and Metrology products. KLA is a pioneering company in the Semi-Conductor industry that utilizes Deep Learning algorithms for defect detection and classification. Additionally, the team is actively exploring the use of Generative models (GAN) for SEM image simulation and image quality enhancement.
Responsibilities
- Develop advanced image processing algorithms for wafer inspection and review.
- Design and develop cutting-edge image processing and machine learning algorithms.
- Implement system-level solutions to enhance the sensitivity of semiconductor inspection & review systems.
- Ensure designs and implementations operate within the boundaries of robustness and stability.
- Address real-time requirements and provide solutions to live customer problems in the field.
- Interface with various system-level groups including Optics, mechanics, sensors, and applications.
- Continuously innovate and push the envelope of leading-edge technologies in algorithms and image computers.
- Develop system-level solutions for complex automated inspection platforms.
