As an Engineer II, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions that meet the needs of our customers. You will be responsible for designing, testing, and validating propulsion systems and energetics components, as well as collaborating with other engineers to integrate these systems into larger platforms.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop propulsion systems and energetics components, including propulsion systems, energetics systems, and related subsystems.
- Conduct testing and validation of propulsion systems and energetics components to ensure they meet performance and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate propulsion systems and energetics components into larger platforms.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test plans, and technical reports.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in propulsion systems and energetics, and apply this knowledge to improve our designs and solutions.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in propulsion systems and energetics, or a related field.
- Strong understanding of propulsion systems and energetics principles, including thermodynamics, fluid dynamics, and materials science.
- Experience with design and development tools, such as CAD software and simulation tools.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
