As an Engineer/Principal Engineer Structural Analysis, you will be responsible for the design and analysis of complex structural systems and components using advanced mathematical and computational methods. You will apply your expertise in finite element analysis, structural analysis, and computational methods to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering problems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure that designs meet performance, safety, and regulatory requirements. You will also be responsible for mentoring and leading junior engineers and providing technical guidance and oversight to ensure the successful completion of projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and apply advanced mathematical and computational methods to design and analyze complex structural systems and components.
  • Apply finite element analysis and other computational methods to simulate and analyze structural behavior under various loading conditions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex engineering problems.
  • Provide technical guidance and oversight to junior engineers and lead teams to ensure successful project completion.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation and reports to communicate results and recommendations to stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
  • 10+ years of experience in structural analysis and design, with a focus on finite element analysis and computational methods.
  • Strong understanding of structural analysis software, including ANSYS and MATLAB.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to mentor and lead junior engineers.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple projects and tasks.
