Key Responsibilities
- Attend and engage in AI meetups, research demos, hackathons, and conferences across the San Francisco Bay Area to gather field intelligence
- Build and maintain a structured view of the AI vendor and startup landscape, identifying emerging tools, enterprise-ready solutions, and overhyped trends
- Run a regular intelligence loop: weekly signal briefs, monthly deep-dives for leadership, and ad hoc alerts on critical developments
- Evaluate new AI tools, APIs, and agentic frameworks through hands-on prototyping and technical assessments
- Engage credibly in deep technical conversations about LLMs, RAG architectures, agentic systems, fine-tuning, and enterprise AI infrastructure
- Act as the connective tissue between external AI ecosystems and internal teams, amplifying insights to shape product strategy and roadmap
Requirements
- Technical depth in AI/ML with hands-on experience building real systems using LLMs, RAG, or agentic frameworks
- Strong ability to synthesize noisy information into actionable intelligence and distill complex technical concepts
- Proven track record of building authentic relationships with researchers, engineers, and practitioners in the AI community
- Experience attending and contributing to AI events, meetups, or hackathons in the San Francisco Bay Area
- Excellent communication skills to present findings internally and occasionally externally
