Job Description
Seeking a qualified and experienced Senior Solution Architect with a strong background in banking and financial technology. The resource will work across multiple digital transformation projects and strategic initiatives aligned with EDB’s roadmap for innovation and compliance.
Mandatory Skills
- Design and review end-to-end technology solutions for digital banking, compliance, and core banking modernization.
- Work closely with project managers, developers, and infrastructure teams across departments.
- Translate business requirements into scalable, secure, and compliant technical architectures.
- Support RFP evaluations, technical assessments, and vendor solution reviews. • Ensure alignment with EDB’s enterprise architecture, data governance, and regulatory obligations.
Desired Skills
- Experience: Minimum 10 years in IT, with at least 5 years as a Solution Architect in the banking sector.
- Expertise: Proven experience with digital banking platforms, core banking systems (e.g. Temenos, Finacle), and integrations via APIs/middleware.
- Certifications: TOGAF or equivalent architecture frameworks preferred. AWS/Azure certifications are a plus.
- Skills: Strong understanding of microservices, DevSecOps, cloud adoption strategies, and data privacy/regulatory frameworks (e.g. GDPR, UAE AML/CFT).
- Communication: Excellent stakeholder management and documentation skills.
