About the Role
The Senior AI Engineer will create generative AI solutions for conversational products using WhatsApp and Twilio, including direct participation in prompt engineering, software engineering, data analysis, and model creation. We work in an agile model with a constant pursuit of results through experiments and short validation cycles. Therefore, we are looking for someone who enjoys and has an aptitude for working in a dynamic, metrics-driven environment with excellent software engineering practices.
What We Expect From You
- Possess experience in Python, designing and experimenting with ML or AI models.
- Conduct consistent and clear quantitative analyses, from problem approach to results presentation.
- Document and communicate data-driven insights to colleagues from different backgrounds.
- Participate in rapid interaction cycles related to model training/tuning, testing, and deployment.
- Basic knowledge of LLMs and prompt engineering.
- Knowledge of NLP, information retrieval, and optimization techniques.
- Familiarity with excellent software engineering practices.
- Knowledge of deploy routines with CI and CD.
- Availability to work in a hybrid model in Florianópolis/SC.
What Increases Your Chances
- Experience in using generative AI integrated into production systems.
- Basic knowledge of AWS, GCP, or Azure clouds.
- Experience in building APIs involving communication with databases.
- Experience in MLOps tools such as Databricks, Snowflake, or Sagemaker.
