The Opportunity
Our AI/ML team in the Creative Cloud Services organization pushes the boundaries of creative tooling with innovative technologies. We’re building in-workflow contextual, content-first, personalized ML based experiences that will allow our users to transform themselves into creative/art directors. We build intelligent features that are integrated into leading apps like Photoshop and Adobe Express. We’re exploring new editing and interaction paradigms by challenging the core assumptions of design documents and artifacts. We dabble in transformers, diffusion models, GANs, recommendation engines, computer vision, image processing. Every day we challenge ourselves to think deeply and be ambitious about leading the revolution in creative apps and tools with the context of brand-new AI/ML, metaverse, AR/VR and Adobe’s unparalleled media editing capabilities.
Our first project, Neural Filters in Photoshop won the 2022 Webby Award for the Best Use of AI and Machine Learning and helped put Adobe on FastCompany’s 2022 list of most innovative companies in AI. This GAN based set of features has incredible capabilities that enable sophisticated photo edits in few button clicks e.g. skin smoothing, change portrait expression or look, transferring styles, mixing landscapes, colorizing black and white photos, etc.
Our latest project strives to provide intelligent solutions and assistance for creators on web. We do everything from applied research and model training to feature development and operating services at scale.
We are rooted in our belief that innovation fuels product led growth and are looking for a Group Product Manager to join us and craft the roadmap for Gravity and Neural Filters. One key aspect of this role is to formulate strategy and join the dots between our initiatives and core business metrics. In addition, the right candidate is one who enjoys the opportunity to dive in and work directly with engineers and researchers to build amazing features by applying our AI/ML offerings.
What You'll Do
- Work with executive leaders, partner teams, engineering and program management to define an AI/ML strategy and roadmap for Gravity and Neural Filters in web and desktop products.
- Define the goals/OKRs in partnership with product teams. Balance between short-term investments and future bets to leapfrog current market competition.
- Ensure the roadmap is informed by business metrics. Track progress towards OKRs and re-prioritize based on data, user feedback and technical constraints.
- Manage a team of product managers who have deep experience in AI/ML technologies and features.
- Coach the team to achieve excellence in quality of PM artifacts (roadmaps, backlogs, PRDs) and data-driven decision making.
- Be a data informed product leader - ensure dashboards are built and regularly used to measure ongoing experiments, A/B tests to refine the features and experience.
- Be aware of new trends and technology in AI/ML and the constantly evolving competitive landscape for creative products. Use this information along with a strong product intuition to propose new features. Lead the team to validate these assumptions with a design/user research and experimentation approach.
- Craft and communicate product strategy across organizations – gain consensus, encourage collaboration, and influence senior executives to acquire necessary resources.
- Regularly engage with partner teams to evangelize our AI/ML features, build out plan to ship and test, surface inter-dependence and align on priorities.
- Work with engineering and program management teams in a close partnership to ensure fast execution and experimentation.
