As an Industrial Security Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the industrial security operations of our organization. This includes ensuring compliance with government regulations and company policies, managing security clearances, and implementing risk management strategies. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and mitigate security risks, and develop and implement policies and procedures to maintain a secure environment. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industrial security principles, government regulations, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement industrial security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with government regulations and company policies.
- Manage security clearances for employees and contractors, ensuring timely and accurate processing.
- Conduct regular security risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies to address identified risks.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities.
- Develop and maintain relationships with government agencies and industry partners to stay informed on regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Provide training and guidance to employees on industrial security policies and procedures.
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in industrial security, with a focus on compliance and risk management.
- Strong understanding of government regulations, including NISPOM and DFARS.
- Experience with security clearance processing and management.
- Ability to analyze complex security risks and develop effective mitigation strategies.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
