Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable back-end services and APIs supporting AI-powered internal tools and workflows
- Architect AI-enabled systems to improve productivity, automation, and operational efficiency across teams
- Evaluate technical approaches for model selection, integrations, scalability, and build-versus-buy decisions
- Lead discovery and product planning for internal AI initiatives, translating business needs into technical requirements
- Build and maintain shared AI services, reusable tooling, and foundational AI capabilities for internal users
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to embed AI into workflows and processes
Requirements
- Senior or staff-level back-end engineering experience with Go or Python
- Hands-on experience building and operating AI/LLM-powered systems in production
- Strong understanding of scalable cloud infrastructure and distributed systems, particularly on GCP
- Product management mindset with experience owning initiatives from discovery to delivery
- Ability to balance hands-on engineering with strategic leadership and mentoring
