As an IT Data Center Facilities/Electrical Power Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliable operation of the data center's electrical power systems. This includes designing, implementing, and maintaining electrical power distribution systems, as well as ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve electrical power-related issues, and collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical power systems, data center operations, and IT infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain electrical power distribution systems in the data center.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations, including OSHA and NFPA 70E.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and resolve electrical power-related issues.
- Work with vendors and contractors to ensure timely and cost-effective solutions.
- Develop and maintain electrical power system documentation and records.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in electrical power systems and data center operations.
- Strong knowledge of electrical power distribution systems, including switchgear, UPS, and generators.
- Experience with electrical safety standards and regulations, including OSHA and NFPA 70E.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex electrical power-related issues.
