Our existing product, CatmanAi, redefines the science of forecasting and commercial decision making on price, promotions, and demand planning in a chaotic, volatile, ambiguous, and uncertain consumer goods market, further impacted by COVID-19.
About the Role
We are hiring a Lead Data Scientist to join our UK team, based in London. Your role as a Lead data scientist would be to use the existing products and develop new techniques in the space of Forecasting, Price & Promotions, and Marketing using AI and ML modelling innovations. This leadership role spans ongoing product development, live customer pilots, and rollouts.
Responsibilities
- Work on Use cases like Forecasting, Price-Promotions optimisation, Market Mix, New product development
- AI, ML and data-led innovation to improve product performance metrics
- Design, Roadmap and Data considerations
- Hands-on modelling as well as programming for production
- Production grade development and rollout capabilities
- Interact with Customers directly, technical stakeholders
- Good understanding of ML fundamentals with experience in major machine learning paradigms such as supervised and unsupervised learning.
Requirements
- Completed PhD or Masters in a relevant subject
- Complemented research experience with industry projects solving real-life problems and challenges, in the Retail and consumer goods sector.

Working Arrangement
In the current COVID-19 foreseeable future, you are expected to work from home. However, as the situation improves, we can evaluate working from an office location.
