We are a rapidly growing start-up, having expanded to 20 employees in just 7 months and secured VC funding for an accelerated path to unicorn status. Our mission involves mitigating an existential threat to humankind through AI Alignment, achieved by researching explainable AI, developing generative AI, and building an in-house framework for LLMs. We have assembled a team of experts from top companies working on large language models and are looking for a leader to manage this team and potentially take on the CTO position.

Responsibilities

  • Build and deploy frameworks for training Large Language Models.
  • Research and develop strategies for explainable AI and generative AI.
  • Contribute to mitigating existential threats through AI Alignment.

Requirements

The ideal candidate will likely possess the following qualifications:

  • Experience with a leading tech company (e.g., FAANG, Microsoft).
  • Demonstrated experience building frameworks for training LLMs (e.g., NeMo, RoBERTa, GPT, LUIS, LaMDA).
  • Proven ability to manage and scale engineering teams.
  • Familiarity with AI Alignment principles and practices (e.g., Open.ai, Google, Anthropic, Adept AI).
  • Background in NLP-related research.
  • Deep technical experience with PyTorch.
  • Experience with technologies such as FastAPI, KubeFlow, and Kubernetes.

Please note: You must be in the UK to be considered for this position.

What We Offer
