About the Role
Being one of the busiest and most awarded airports in the world, Changi Airport serves hundreds of thousands of flights and creates memorable experiences for tens of millions of customers each year. Changi Airport Group (CAG) is looking for passionate individuals to join its AI Centre of Excellence (AI CoE) team. The effective use of AI is a key enabler in CAG's pursuit of excellence, aiming to better serve customers and continuously improve operations. Recognizing the need to quickly proliferate AI into many application areas and leverage the expertise of matured market players, the strategy emphasizes smart adoption and buying of AI solutions over solely in-house development. The AI CoE is established to build an “AI Smart Buy” capability for CAG, enabling the adoption of AI at scale and exploitation of AI solutions while managing associated risks.
Your Role
- Oversee CAG’s AI strategy, including identifying key areas of investment and developing a maturity roadmap to support enterprise aspirations.
- Identify key areas of AI which could deliver high business impact and proactively push for Proof-of-Concepts (POCs) to demonstrate value.
- Partner Business Units for AI solution discovery, proactively sharing technical knowledge of assessment metrics, AI opportunities and risks.
- Develop & oversee AI governance policies where necessary to ensure safe & responsible adoption of AI.
- Upskill & educate rest of CAG staff to raise AI competencies and realise “AI smart buy” capability.
Who You Are
- Degree(s) in AI, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems or any related discipline.
- 6+ years professional experience in related field, with at least 3-5 years in AI engineering and AI strategy development.
- Familiar with various AI/ML areas, including Natural Language Processing, Computer Vision, Reinforcement learning, traditional machine learning, Robust AI, Responsible AI, etc.
- Familiar with AI development tools and frameworks including Python, Tensorflow, PyTorch, etc.
- Experience in working with AI solution providers and AI professional bodies.
- Strong leader with good communication skills.
