About the Role
Genpact is inviting applications for a Manager, Power BI specialist. This role is crucial for transforming end-to-end reporting and forecasting processes through digitization, leveraging digital technology and analytics to drive material impact for clients.
Responsibilities
- End-to-end automation of all sales reporting using business intelligence tools like Power BI.
- Utilize the latest visualization technology and build an integrated architecture for real-time data flow and agility.
- Ensure the back-end architecture is agile, aggregating data from various sources into an efficient data warehouse, adapting to changing business needs.
- Create captivating front-end visualizations that enable leaders to make rapid decisions.
- Debug, supervise, and fix BI solutions.
- Work closely with Data Scientists to set up forecasting using machine learning and NLP, integrating output into Power BI.
- Maintain a high level of attention to detail and accuracy with large, complex data sets.
- Apply strong analytical and interpretation skills, ensuring data integrity across all reports.
- Demonstrate excellent influencing capabilities, managing and challenging diverse stakeholder groups.
- Think innovatively, forge strong business relationships, and deliver required results.
- Exhibit an inquisitive nature and a proven ability to identify and solve problems.
- Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or Engineering, or a Business or IT degree.
- Power BI visualization certification.
- Proven track record of implementing Power BI in a sales environment.
- Knowledge and experience in building codes, managing databases, Data warehousing, and designing.
- Excellent communication (written, verbal, and presentation) skills with editorial expertise.
- Business acumen, curiosity, agility, and problem-solving skills to translate user requirements into appropriate dashboards, visualizations, and reports.
- A passion for design driving business outcomes through partnership with Sales and Operations.
Essential Skills
- Proven experience building/developing reports, processes, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Technical systems skills experience with data warehouses & reporting platforms (e.g., SAP BW, Cognos, Oracle, Business Objects), budgeting & reporting tools (e.g., OFA, HFM, Siebel, SAP Project Accounting), and enterprise resource planning systems (e.g., SAP ECC).
- Proficiency in Power BI data visualization and modelling, and Qlik Sense for dashboard and visualization building.
- Experience in the Finance domain of optimization and automation of given tools.
