Design and develop radar and sensor systems as a Mechanical Engineer II at RTX (Raytheon Technologies). The successful candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and testing of radar and sensor systems, including the development of finite element analysis models and the use of computer-aided design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in mechanical engineering and experience with radar and sensor systems.
Key Responsibilities
- Design and develop radar and sensor systems, including the development of finite element analysis models.
- Use computer-aided design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks to create detailed designs and models.
- Test and validate radar and sensor systems to ensure they meet performance and reliability requirements.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical and software engineers, to integrate radar and sensor systems into larger systems.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test reports.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in mechanical engineering, with a focus on radar and sensor systems.
- Strong background in finite element analysis and computer-aided design (CAD) software such as SolidWorks.
- Experience with radar and sensor systems, including design, development, and testing.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
