Brief Overview
As a DevOps Engineer, you will play an important role in supporting the scalability, reliability, automation, and operational efficiency of Amwell’s cloud infrastructure and platform environments. You will work closely with engineering, platform, and SRE teams to help maintain secure, resilient, and highly available systems that enable reliable software delivery across the organization.
This role is highly hands-on and focused on cloud infrastructure, Kubernetes environments, Infrastructure as Code, automation, and operational support. You will contribute to improving CI/CD processes, monitoring capabilities, deployment reliability, and infrastructure standardization while supporting modern engineering practices across teams.
The ideal candidate brings strong AWS experience, solid Kubernetes and Terraform expertise, scripting and automation capabilities, and a collaborative mindset within distributed engineering environments.

- Support and maintain scalable AWS cloud infrastructure environments focused on reliability, availability, and operational performance.
- Manage and improve Kubernetes/EKS environments supporting production-scale workloads.
- Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
- Build and support CI/CD pipelines using GitLab CI/CD and automation best practices.
- Collaborate with engineering and platform teams to improve deployment reliability and infrastructure automation.
- Support monitoring, logging, and observability initiatives using CloudWatch and related monitoring solutions.
