The Role
Fever is seeking a People Operations Manager to join our growing global People Team. Reporting to the People Operations Director, you will be responsible for administering key HR processes and programs, managing operational tasks, and partnering closely with our People Business Partner team to enhance the employee experience for our rapidly expanding workforce in the US and Canada. You are passionate about building and improving efficient, scalable HR processes and thrive in a fast-paced environment where you can leverage your HR expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Administer core HR processes including onboarding, offboarding, new hire paperwork, I-9 compliance, employee changes, employee verifications, and unemployment claims.
- Partner with our external payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate payroll processing, including data entry, audits, and reporting.
- Manage employee benefits administration, including enrollments, changes, terminations, and annual open enrollment. Act as a point of contact for employee benefits questions and resolve issues effectively.
- Maintain and audit HRIS data to ensure accuracy and data integrity. Identify areas for improvement in data management and propose solutions.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Stay updated on changes in legislation and recommend necessary policy updates.
- Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support Fever’s growth and ensure a positive employee experience.
- Support the People Business Partner team with various employee relations matters, performance management processes, and HR initiatives.
- Manage HR projects from conception to completion, including project planning, execution, and communication.
- Generate and analyze HR reports and metrics to identify trends and provide data-driven insights to support decision-making.
- Provide exceptional support to employees and managers on HR-related inquiries, fostering a culture of responsiveness and care.
- Participate in the evaluation and selection of new HR technologies and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
What you bring
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- 3-5 years of progressive experience in People Operations or HR administration, with a strong focus on payroll, benefits, and HRIS management.
- Proven experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment, preferably within a global or multi-national company.
- Strong understanding of US and Canadian employment laws and HR best practices.
- Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., Workday, SuccessFactors, Greenhouse, ADP Workforce Now) and proficient in G Suite, Slack, and other collaboration tools.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy in data entry and record-keeping.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and trust with employees at all levels.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a data-driven approach to decision-making.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and deadlines in a dynamic environment.
- A proactive, self-starter mentality with a passion for continuous improvement and operational excellence.
