As a Platform Engineer on our Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE) team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining scalable platforms that enable our engineers to focus on delivering high-quality products. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, implement, and operate large-scale systems that are highly available, secure, and efficient.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable architectures for our platforms using Python, Node.js, and AWS.
- Collaborate with engineers to identify and prioritize platform requirements and implement solutions that meet those needs.
- Develop and maintain automated testing and deployment tools to ensure high-quality and efficient delivery of our platforms.
- Work with our security team to ensure our platforms meet the highest security standards.
- Participate in on-call rotations to ensure our platforms are always available and performing well.
Requirements:
- 5+ years of experience in platform engineering or a related field.
- Strong understanding of cloud computing platforms, including AWS.
- Experience with containerization using Docker and orchestration using Kubernetes.
- Proficiency in Python, Node.js, and/or other programming languages.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
