Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and maintenance of internal developer platforms and tooling
- Architect and implement scalable infrastructure solutions using cloud-native technologies
- Establish and enforce platform standards, best practices, and governance policies
- Collaborate with engineering teams to optimize developer productivity and system reliability
- Mentor engineers and drive technical excellence across the platform organization
- Monitor platform performance and implement improvements to reduce operational overhead
Requirements
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering with 3+ years in platform or infrastructure engineering
- Deep expertise in Kubernetes, container orchestration, and cloud infrastructure (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Strong background in infrastructure as code (Terraform, Pulumi) and CI/CD pipelines
- Experience with service mesh, observability tools, and distributed tracing
- Proven leadership skills with ability to influence technical direction and drive adoption
