As a Platform Engineering Manager, Forward Deployed Engineering (FDE), you will lead the development and operation of scalable, reliable, and innovative platforms that enable our forward-deployed engineering teams to deliver high-quality products and services. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain our platform infrastructure, ensuring seamless integration with our products and services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable and reliable platform architectures using cloud-native technologies such as AWS.
- Lead the development and operation of our platform infrastructure, including containerization, orchestration, and monitoring.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to design and implement platform features and services that meet business requirements.
- Develop and maintain platform documentation, including architecture diagrams, technical guides, and operational procedures.
- Ensure platform security, compliance, and governance, including vulnerability management and incident response.
Requirements:
- 8+ years of experience in platform engineering, DevOps, or a related field.
- Proven experience in leading cross-functional teams and managing multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong technical skills in cloud-native technologies, containerization, and orchestration.
- Experience with machine learning and data analytics is a plus.
