About the Role
We are seeking a Principal AI Engineer with a strong background in machine learning, data science, and applied AI. This role requires proficiency with Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft ecosystem tools, along with experience in building AI-driven automation solutions such as chatbots and copilots.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy AI-driven solutions including chatbots and copilots.
- Prepare datasets and build robust machine learning pipelines.
- Translate complex business needs into effective AI solutions.
- Collaborate across technical and non-technical teams, explaining complex AI concepts to stakeholders.
- Maintain a security-conscious mindset, adhering to data protection best practices, especially with sensitive data.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
- At least 5 years of related work experience.
- Strong background in machine learning, data science, and applied AI.
- Proficiency with Azure OpenAI, Copilot Studio, and Microsoft ecosystem tools.
- Experience building chatbots, copilots, or similar AI-driven automation.
- Solid programming skills with Python.
- Knowledge of MCP (Model Context Protocol) is a plus.
- Experience preparing datasets and building ML pipelines.
- Familiarity with product development lifecycles and agile delivery practices.
- Security-conscious mindset with knowledge of data protection best practices, especially when working with sensitive or regulated data.
- Strong problem-solving skills with ability to translate business needs into AI solutions.
- Excellent collaboration and communication skills to work across technical and non-technical teams.
- Ability to explain complex AI concepts simply to stakeholders.
