Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of advanced electrical systems for medical devices
- Oversee PCB layout, signal integrity, and power management solutions
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate electrical components with firmware and mechanical systems
- Ensure compliance with medical device regulations and safety standards
- Mentor junior engineers and review technical designs for robustness
- Optimize power consumption and thermal performance of electronic subsystems
Requirements
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field
- 8+ years of experience in electrical engineering, with 3+ years in medical device development
- Proficiency in Altium Designer, KiCad, or similar PCB design tools
- Strong knowledge of embedded systems, analog/digital circuit design, and power electronics
- Experience with regulatory standards (IEC 60601, FDA 510(k))
