As a Principal Engineer / Sr Principal Engineer Aeronautical - Liaison Engineering, you will be responsible for leading the design and development of advanced aeronautical systems. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to drive innovation and meet customer needs. This role requires a strong technical background in aeronautical engineering, as well as excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design and development of advanced aeronautical systems, including aircraft and spacecraft.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including engineering, program management, and customer support.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications and test plans.
- Provide technical guidance and support to junior engineers and other team members.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and improvement.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Aeronautical Engineering or a related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in aeronautical engineering, with a strong background in design and development.
- Experience with Agile Methodologies and Linux operating systems.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
