About the Role
Tiger Analytics is a global AI and analytics consulting firm, solving problems that impact millions globally. We are seeking a Principal - MLE to work on cutting-edge data analytics and machine learning problems across various industries. This role involves a blend of hands-on technical contribution, team leadership, and client engagement, focusing on designing resilient and scalable solution architectures.
Responsibilities
- Engage with clients to understand their business context and manage stakeholders independently.
- Design solution architectures that are resilient and scalable.
- Lead a team of data scientists and engineers to embed AI and analytics into business decision processes.
- Perform a role that involves a combination of hands-on contribution and customer engagement.
- Switch between roles of an Individual Contributor, team member, and solution architect as demanded by each project.
- Devise creative analytical approaches to solve business problems.
- Develop and enhance algorithms and models to solve business problems.
- Maintain all models along with development and updating of code and process documentation.
- Design a solution approach, leading a team to deploy and maintain it in production.
- Stay plugged into emerging technologies/industry trends and apply them into operations and activities.
Requirements
- 10+ years in software engineering.
- Proficient in structured programming languages such as Python, C/C++, Java is mandatory.
- Significant hands-on experience with at least one cloud provider and knowledgeable about the pros and cons of various cloud services.
- Good understanding of various software architecture & design patterns, SOLID principles.
- Comprehensive knowledge of SQL skills.
- Good knowledge of Data science approaches, machine learning algorithms, and statistical methods.
- Experience with ETL and Data Engineering pipelines using Spark/PySpark.
- Experience with workflow orchestration tools like Airflow.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- B. Tech from Tier-1 college / M.S or M. Tech is preferred.
