Principal OR Sr. Principal Structural Analysis Engineer at Northrop Grumman. We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Principal or Sr. Principal Structural Analysis Engineer to lead our structural analysis engineering teams in the development of complex systems. The successful candidate will apply expertise in finite element analysis, computational mechanics, and structural analysis to ensure system integrity and performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to develop and implement structural analysis methodologies and tools.
- Apply advanced finite element analysis and computational mechanics techniques to solve complex structural analysis problems.
- Develop and maintain structural analysis models and simulations to ensure system performance and integrity.
- Collaborate with design and test teams to ensure structural analysis results are integrated into the design and testing process.
- Develop and implement structural analysis training programs for engineers and technicians.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Aerospace Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in structural analysis engineering, with a focus on finite element analysis and computational mechanics.
- Proven track record of leading cross-functional teams and developing and implementing structural analysis methodologies and tools.
- Strong understanding of structural analysis software, including Python, MATLAB, and finite element analysis tools.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the ability to work effectively with engineers, technicians, and management.
