Job Summary:
Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal Supply Chain Planning Specialist to lead supply chain planning efforts to optimize inventory management, demand forecasting, and logistics operations. The successful candidate will have a strong background in supply chain planning and experience with SAP and Oracle systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement supply chain planning strategies to improve inventory management and reduce costs.
- Lead cross-functional teams to analyze and resolve supply chain planning issues.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to identify and prioritize business needs and develop solutions to meet those needs.
- Develop and maintain reports and dashboards to track key performance indicators (KPIs) and provide insights to stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in supply chain planning and logistics.
Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in supply chain planning, with a strong background in inventory management and demand forecasting.
- Proven experience with SAP and Oracle systems, with a strong understanding of their capabilities and limitations.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas to stakeholders.
- Strong leadership and collaboration skills, with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and build relationships with stakeholders.
- Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
