About the Role
Discovered MENA has partnered with one of **Riyadh’s most ambitious digital ecosystems**. Despite rapid business growth, their product function is in its early stages with a small team supporting a large engineering organization. They are undergoing a transformation from a tech-led organization into a truly product-led one, led by recently appointed senior product leadership. They are hiring multiple **Product Manager II’s & Senior Product Managers** to facilitate this shift.
This is a formative opportunity to join the product organization, helping shape how product operates across the company while owning significant problem spaces end-to-end. The role offers a hybrid working model and can be based in **Riyadh or Dubai (with monthly travel to Riyadh)**.
Responsibilities
As a Senior Product Manager, you will:
- Own meaningful product problems across one of several product areas within the company’s ecosystem. The organization is being structured into multiple product squads, covering areas such as the core platform, new vertical products, subscriptions and growth initiatives, B2B partner tooling, and platform capabilities.
- Take full ownership of product initiatives from **problem discovery through to solution delivery and iteration**, working closely with engineering, design, and leadership stakeholders.
- Engage in **true product ownership** rather than delivery management – shaping problems, driving strategy within your space, and making decisions that influence the direction of the platform.
- Lead product discovery and define problems clearly before jumping to solutions.
- Work closely with engineering teams to bring complex products to life.
- Challenge stakeholders and push back when needed.
- Bring structure and clarity to ambiguous problem spaces.
- Drive product decisions using strong PM fundamentals and structured thinking.
Requirements
They are seeking **strong Product Managers** who can operate **autonomously and independently**, owning problems end-to-end rather than simply executing requirements. The current product team is quite junior, so they are specifically looking for **strong IC-level PMs who can raise the bar and act as role models within the team.**
Nice to have’s:
- Experience operating as a **Senior Product Manager in a scaling technology company**.
- Strong fundamentals across **discovery, validation, and product delivery**.
- Experience working in **product-led organisations or helping drive that shift**.
- Ability to work closely with **engineering and design teams**.
- Background in **platforms, fintech, marketplaces, or ecosystem products** is helpful but not essential.
Domain expertise may be particularly valuable for some areas (for example, payments or fintech within new product verticals), but **strong product thinking is far more important than specific industry experience.**
