Job Title: Product Manager, Mobile Applications

Location: 100% Remote, Canada Experience: 5+ Years Rate: $120k to $130k CAD

Role Summary: NearSource is seeking a Product Manager, Mobile Applications, to lead the strategy, roadmap, and lifecycle management of enterprise-grade mobile platforms. This role will drive mobile product innovation, optimize user engagement, and deliver measurable business outcomes across iOS and Android ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Define and execute a mobile product strategy aligned with enterprise digital objectives
  • Develop and maintain a prioritized mobile product roadmap
  • Drive backlog prioritization to maximize user value and business impact
  • The author detailed user stories and acceptance criteria for mobile features
  • Partner with engineering teams to deliver scalable iOS and Android applications
  • Collaborate with UX/UI teams to ensure intuitive, accessible, and high-performance mobile experiences
  • Oversee release planning, version management, and App Store / Play Store deployment cycles
  • Establish and track KPIs, including DAU, MAU, retention, and engagement metrics
  • Monitor mobile analytics and user feedback to drive continuous optimization
  • Ensure compliance with mobile security standards and platform guidelines
  • Manage third-party SDKs, integrations, and vendor relationships
  • Maintain comprehensive mobile product documentation

Must-Have Skills

  • 5+ years of experience in product management for mobile applications
  • Proven experience delivering iOS and Android applications at scale
  • Strong expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
  • Experience managing mobile product backlogs and sprint planning
  • Proficiency in writing clear user stories and acceptance criteria
  • Strong analytical capability using mobile analytics platforms and performance metrics
  • Experience defining mobile roadmaps and release strategies
  • Ability to establish and track engagement and retention KPIs
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or related field

Nice-to-Have Skills

  • Experience with mobile loyalty or rewards platforms
  • Familiarity with App Store Optimization (ASO) strategies
  • Experience integrating third-party APIs and SDKs
  • Exposure to financial services or regulated industries
  • Knowledge of mobile accessibility and compliance standards
