As a Programme Engineering Manager at RTX, you will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams of engineers and technicians to deliver complex programmes on time, on budget, and with high quality. You will work closely with programme stakeholders to define programme scope, develop project plans, and manage programme risks. You will also be responsible for ensuring that programme deliverables meet customer requirements and are delivered to the required quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead cross-functional teams of engineers and technicians to deliver complex programmes
- Develop and manage programme project plans, including defining scope, timelines, and budgets
- Identify and manage programme risks, and develop mitigation strategies
- Ensure that programme deliverables meet customer requirements and are delivered to the required quality standards
- Collaborate with programme stakeholders to define programme scope and develop project plans
Requirements:
- Proven experience in programme management, with a strong track record of delivering complex programmes on time, on budget, and with high quality
- Strong technical knowledge of engineering principles and practices, with a focus on software development and systems integration
- Excellent leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and direct cross-functional teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to identify and manage programme risks
- Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Jira and Confluence
