Quality Head – Electronic Manufacturing Services (EMS) (20 – 25 Years) – Gurgaon, Haryana (onsite)
The Quality Head will be responsible for implementing an effective Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure manufacturing compliance across the organization.
Key Responsibilities.
Develop quality processes in line with the Quality Management System, including TS16949, ISO 14001, ISO 9001, and OHSAS 18001.
Oversee Production Part Approval Process (PPAP), Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP), Control Plans, Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA), and Supplier Quality Assurance (SQA) processes and compliance.
Manage the internal and external audit program.
Ensure compliance with IATF standards, given the organization's status as an IATF-compliant entity serving automotive customers.
Contribute to the development and implementation of quality vision, strategy, policies, and procedures.
Implement all relevant procedures described in the QMS and ensure ongoing compliance.
Ensure in-house systems and procedures are updated, revised, and modified to meet the requirements of external certification bodies.
Respond to customer complaints with thorough root-cause analysis, implement poka-yoke (error-proofing) solutions, and drive short- and long-term corrective actions.
Maintain and update quality documentation.
Ensure all systems and procedures required to satisfy audit requirements are in place.
Train team members on quality systems and the application of relevant procedures.
Establish and refine quality sign-off instructions, standards, and documentation.
Conduct root cause analysis for reported quality issues.
Ensure the function operates in accordance with all health, safety, and environmental policies to safeguard staff and visitors.
Required Skills & Experience
B.Tech in Electronics
20 – 25 Years of experience
Prior experience in an Automotive Electronics environment is required.
IATF and ISO certification exposure is mandatory for this role.
